Thousands of people turned up to the McCormick Benalla Gold Cup despite heavy rain clouds hanging over Benalla. Luck only a few drops hit the ground and the day turned out to be a hit for punters and race-goers who enjoyed a day full of excitement. The McCormick Benalla Gold Cup has been sponsored by McCormick Tractors and Tractors R Us Shepparton for the third year in a row. This year's cup has been won by Stormhill. Stormhill has been trained by Clinton McDonald and the successful jockey is Brad Rawiller.
